New Year's Edition
How long do we go around in circles till we realize that we need a change?
Luke 9:23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me
It's that time again the end of the year and the start of a new one. We are ready to make promises to change something in our life. Then not even a month,a week or sometimes a day we fall short of that promise. This year I will change this about myself. This year I will do this This year!
I will stop drinking I'm going to make New Years the last time. I will stop smoking one last time for new years. I will quit this quit that but I'll do it one more time for new years. I will do,I will quit,I will stop. I I I I.
Do the I's have it?
No the I's don't
Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me
We can only do these things with the help of Christ Jesus.

Jesus

Which means take the I's out of it!
and take up his cross
Meaning we must die to self on a daily basis not yearly.
take up his cross daily, and follow me
We must follow (Jesus )
Jesus and His example
With that solution we can stick to our New Years Revolution
