Spoon Fed Christians!
Spoon Fed Christians!
If you was to go into battle with a sword would you let someone else swing it for you?
Of course not the enemy would kill you were you stood!Thats the same with the Bible.Would you just listen to the word coming from the pulpit?Or would you read it for your self!
Timothy 2:15 Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth
Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Peter 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
A spoon fed christian is like a baby beeing fed Gerber baby food,it's no wonder that so many of us christians are in babylon.
Then the opinion of the word is set out in the churches.
Romans 2:20 An instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, which hast the form of knowledge and of the truth in the law.
Listening to just a Pastor that may be speaking not according to the word on a pulpit and not studing the word for yourselvels is like a sheep listning to a wolf instead of the sheapard.
Matthew 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Put all prophets to the test how can you you test them?
Isaiah 8:20 To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them
If the Bible does not say it don't spray it.
Acts 20:29 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.
Luke 10:3 Go your ways: behold, I send you forth as lambs among wolves
What gets me is when I talk about I a certian subject in the Bible and prove the subject by the Bible,Then all of the sudden the person who said they don't argree tells me they don't want to argue.Well your not argueing with me.If I'm useing the very word of God then who are you argueing with?

NOTE SERMON ABOUT CULT POINTING
Mark 9:38 And John answered him, saying, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name, and he followeth not us: and we forbad him, because he followeth not us. 39 But Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a miracle in my name, that can lightly speak evil of me. 40 For he that is not against us is on our part. 41 For whosoever shall give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because ye belong to Christ, verily I say unto you, he shall not lose his reward.
If your Christian you want to follow Jesus Christ and you would be correct in doing so.
Jesus Teaches that we should share the good news the gospel to everyone.
But it seems as though there is not enough of the good news being spread.
There are a lot of Christian denominations and churches everyone belive to be the right church.
The Catholic Church belived that anyone that was different with there belief was considered a heretic.
In fact a war was raged in those days against the opposition through what is called the inquisition.
A lot of protestants and others lost there lives in what history would call the dark ages.
Because indeed it was very dark.No one was spreading the gospel they was spreading persecution against the gospel.
Anyone who let Jesus and the Bible dictate there lives rather than the Church was killed.
Now this is not an attack on Catholics by all means I love Catholics I have catholic friends.This is stating history of what can happen when there are prejudices. It can get in the way and some may think to kill someone else that differ thinking they are doing the will of God.
Now can history repeat itself?
Well yes it can and it will it is in the very word of God.
Now before I go any further I want to confess that I have been guilty of calling others a cult.
It was alright for me to call another church a cult but it was wrong for any other church to call my Seventh Day Adventist church a cult.
Yeah the ones who keep the Sabbath what are they Jews?
How come they keep the Sabbath they must be legalist.
They teach works when they teach the Sabbath.
Well of course we don't teach works but rest from work!
But back to what I was saying.
Should I call Sunday keepers a cult?
No I SHOULD NOT!
Neither should Sabbath keepers be called a cult.
I can't count how many times I've been called a cult or a legalist or got confused for Jewish.
Especially that I don't eat pork oh man what's going on SDA must not be Christian.
Each church teaches something different each one believes they go by the very word of God.
Each one believes to have the truth which they do if they have Jesus.
So why are we so divided should not the body be together.Yes we should be one body.
But the difference in how we interpret the Bible has separated us.
Back before the Catholic church you had Christians who followed the Bible and Jesus.
The Catholic Church tought scripture but it is only tought to people by the priest.
Martin Luther nailed the Theses in 1517 on the doors of the church hoping to lead them back to the Bible.
Luther strongly disputed their claim that freedom from God's punishment of sin could be purchased with money.
But that did not happen and the reformation was born.The move to get back to the roots of Jesus and the Bible had Begun.
Luther taught that salvation is a free gift of God and received only by grace through faith in Jesus as redeemer from sin, not from good works.
Now before I go any further I want to add that I'm not saying that Catholics don't love Jesus or the Bible.
There are a lot of Catholics that do love Jesus and they love his word.
After all Martin Luther was a Catholic and he yearned to see it come to the Bible and what it teaches.
With the reformation came a lot of different churches each with what they belive to be the truth.
John Calvin taught once saved always saved.
The Anabaptist taught the true meaning of baptism by IMMERSION.
With each church had a founder or founders based on the truth of Jesus and His word.
As they started they were persecuted burned at the stake as heretics.
All because of the difference of belief.
Now I'm not going to touch on other religions I'm basically going to talk about Christianity.
Each Church has something similar which is Jesus and some things that are different.
Church of Christ believe that if your not Church of Christ your going to hell.
That would make it seem that if you go to other churches you would be going to hell.
Cult pointing is getting very big among Christians today books have been and still being written on the subject of cults.
One for instance The Kingdom of the Cults by Walter Martin.In it he touches on the different beliefs including other Christianity.
He even touches on Seventh Day Adventist. Which none of it I can agree with. But it leaves the reader who does not know to be led to think that not only Seventh Day Adventist are a cult but any thing that is different from Walter's beliefs are a cult.
Books upon books have been published touching on different beliefs. Each always cult pointing.
I have even came across web sites that take the time to attack other denominations including SDA.
One site the guy calling himself the fifth or 5th stating in his videos that SDA are a cult that we teach that Jesus was a created being when we refer to Michael the Archangel as Jesus.One reason for this statement is because of what Jehovah Wittness say about Jesus and Michael the Archangel.
The two views are totally different.SDA does not state that Jesus was a created being at all We believe that He is God.The word made flesh,The Creator!
John 1:1-5 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
The 5th really doesn't know what he is talking about.In my opinion is that he is causing controversy for a hidden cause.
A lot of people like the 5th are on the world wide web spreading world wide lies and hate yes hate.
Because it is prejudice when we go around calling each other cult.
Hate speech hidden by the mask of Christianity.
People are spending to much time on exposing other beliefs than spreading the gospel.
Has Satan won yet again divide and conquer is always the tactic.
Just Like Jesus said here:
Matthew 12:25
And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:
We must stand on truth we must stand on the solid rock!
Matthew 7:26-28
And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.
Yes there are a lot of untruth being taught each one thinking the other is in untruth.
How do we know if we have the truth?
2 Timothy 3:16
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
Should my church membership determine my salvation?
John 14:6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
No Jesus is the only way nobody in a church can save you no man who calls himself holy no one but Jesus!
Jesus died for our sins no man has that right.
So my appeal to everyone is that I'm not saying everyone is right or anyone is wrong.
We may not agree on everything.

Those ideals with political power can become dangerous.
Point:Would it be right to force our beliefs on others?
No it's not!our country was founded on freedom of religion.
Would it be right to pass a law governing all to observe Sabbath Saturday the seventh day or be jailed or killed.?
Would it be right to pass a law to force others to observe Sunday or be jailed or killed?
Well hopefully you said no because it is not right.Also the United States is founded to be separation of church and state.
That the church keeps it hands off the government and the government keeps it's hands off the church.
Hmm I wonder why they made that the First Amendment to the United States Constitution
It may be because they knew it would bring the horrors of the past the persecution of others that simply did not believe the way others do.
Cult pointing is just like this it is persecution.
Take Saul before he was Paul he killed Christians he was a Pharisee.
He thought he was doing the will of God but Jesus told him:
Acts 9:1-5
And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest, 2 And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem. 3 And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven: 4 And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? 5 And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.
So you see you we may not agree with the Catholics,the Baptist,the Mormons,Jehovah Witness,Seventh Day Adventist,Methodist,Lutherans etc.
But we have not the right to throw such labels like cults,or heretics on them.
Or viceversa!
Acts 17:30
And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:
God is the Judge in the end.
We can share our beliefs with love and understanding.
I hope who ever is reading this would consider these things. I come to you not as a Seventh Day Adventist but as a Christian a follower of Jesus.
Remember if you choose to say I'm part of a cult just know this. I am a C.ristian U.nder the L.ord Jesus's T.eachings.
Not any one else.

The Undisputed Champ
The Undisputed Champ
Let me talk to you about wrestling. What Wrestling? Yes Wrestling!I was a huge wrestling fan. Yea I still watch it yes pray for me.To me it's like a live comic book.A battle of the titans the good against the bad.The heel verses the face.Though I have a chosen favarites.here is one that really sticks out to me. I get exited when the crowd says His name.The reason I like this to me the Champion of all time.Is because He came at them with a new style.He want's to change are profile.He made the crowd go wild.They said crucify but he did not tap out to the pain.Becouse that Champion is the Son of Man. Do you hear me.He is my tag team partner.When I'm being beat up by the enemy he is there for me to tag in.He comes in Like the Rock.He is my rock and takes down sin. He is the most electrifying presence when He is in the ring of my heart. No one else can take any part. He knows what I feel and what I felt.He is not the number 1# CONTENDER He always has the belt.The belt of my heart. Jesus that's who I'm talking about. He is the Ultimate Warrior when I have a battle.There is no reason to doubt. He is the best there is the best there was the best there ever will be. With Him all attain the victory. Jesus that's who.He is the true King of Kings the part of the Trininty.When the angels cried they cried HHH. They cried Holy! Holy! Holy! The King of the Ring of my heart. He mends our heart when we deal with Heart Break Kid. He super kicks That Psycho Sid the Devil.Puts us on another level. I was Stone Cold but he came at me with a stunner.When he stunned me with his love and compassion. He took a bashing and a lashing and came back like retro fashion. Let me tell you something! To be the man you have to wooooo! Walk like the man.That Man is Jesus! Like John Cena the Father says you can't see me. But through my Son Jesus you can. That is part of the plan. Are you His number 1# fan. I shout through the crowd. I can't wait to see Him when He comes through the Clouds. Now that's an entrance. When Jesus comes trough town I plan to have a ticket. Not a bootleg ticket that one will have Him passing the sentence. I shall continue to pray and give my repentance. So He can come in and body slam all the Giants in my life.He comes in and puts a leg drop on the Sting of death. He breaths in me the life giving breath.No longer am I a dead man walking. Are you hearing me! Jesus the Undisputed Champion of all time. Jesus he goes by many names Jehovah Jireh,Jehovah Nissi,Jehovah Shalom. Immanuel God with us Jehovah saves!Tha Truth the way the life. When I hear that you cannot put this Christian in a Cage. Oooh Yea! You can find out who wins the match just go to the last Page. Jesus there is no other Now can you dig that Brother!

When you are in a dark room the first thing you do is reach for is the light switch. It only make scence to do so.If you are in a dark tunnel you always follow the light to find your way out. Weather it is a flashlight or a light bulb as your source of light.They can only help in your vision.What About Your spiritial life.When your down to your last hope everything is closing in on you.Everything seems so dark.Everything and everyone seems to be wrong to you.You've tried the world and it seems there is nothing out there to make you
happy.Money,cars,material things only keep you singing a happy tune for a moment.
A loved one has abandon you leaving you alone.No one seems to care your a nice person but but everyone seems to make you feel horriable about youself.Everyone seems to lie,and decieve you.The world is so cold and dark you think about suicide.And at that very moment you have two choices you one you can end it all or two you reach out to something you cry out to God not knowing what your saying at the time it just feels that's what you need to say.It echos out of your heart.Tears flows down your face you call on God in your dark time.

What it is saying here God stepped into darkness and he said let there be light.Once everything was dark and void in your life.Now the light interveined Jesus stepped in.

YOU HAVE TO CROSS TO GET TO THE FATHER
Everyone knows that in order to get across a river you have to build a bridge to get across it. If you try without it you will fall. In our selfish ways we try to swim across thinking we can do it by ourselves. But sometimes the current can be to much and even the God with mercy throws us a life line in despite of ourselves. That life line is Jesus!
When Moses was at the sea!
EXODUS 14:21 And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided.22And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.
The waters were parted and on dry ground they went across. God sets us up a pathway in our lives. We need to take heed and cross with out fear and doubt.
Luke 9:23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me
We need to forget about the walls around us and follow were Jesus leads.
MARK 1O:21 Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast,and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the CROSS, and follow me
Let's not worry about anything in our life nothing is more valuable than the cross. Let us take it up daily.
John 6:37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
John 6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.
The only way to get to the our Father is to cross.
John 14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
2In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
I remember when I was a child me and my friend was riding our bikes having the time of our lives just going all over the place. We happen to go through some trails I ride across a hill going downward. My friend tries to tell me it was risky going down there and not to go. I would not listen so I take on off down the hill rolling down then all of the sudden I hit a rock. I fly off the bike as I look I can see a real shallow creek. As fell all I could think of was me falling in the creek I was real close to falling in. But there was a bridge that kept me from falling in that creek full of rocks. As I landed on the bridge I notice I landed in some mess. Being a horse trail you can guess what it was. But under the mess was the bridge.
We will land in some mess from time to time but the bridge is still there. Grace is still there. To keep us from falling in the shallow creeks in life. We can cross out all our worries all our fears.
We can cross out all our sins.
All we have to do is cross.
Come across to Jesus!
John 14:5-6
5Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?
6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Shall we Cross!!!!!

FAULT FINDING
Some of us as Christians go around with a holier than thou attitude not remembering that we have faults as well. We are ready to throw stones at one another. Pionting out each others faults. Some times we would look at someone just how they look and judge them. We all are guilty of this in some form.
JOHN 8:3 And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery;Note how did they know she was committing adultery? and when they had set her in the midst, 4 They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act.5 Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou? 6 This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not. 7 So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. 8 And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground. 9 And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. 10 When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? 11She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
Jesus is the light of the world. The light of life!When the accusers dropped there stones they were convicted of there faults.
Matthew 7:1-29
1 Judge not, that ye be not judged. 2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. 3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? 4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? 5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye. How much dirt is in your eye should you wipe it clean. Or are we too busy looking at each others dirt. Did you hear about so and so. Gossip is not of God it spreads like a virus hurting the one it's about.
Note if your not there to even hear,see,or know what happened is not that bearing false witness!
Romans 12:3
For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
Ephesians 4:7
7 But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
There are even cases were Christians of other folds will slander another fold saying they are deceived or they are a cult!
There is no spirit of the Lord in you if you do so. We all have differences but we are all the body of Christ the Truth lies within the word of God. Share your thoughts share the word.
2 Timothy 4:1-5 Amp I CHARGE [you] in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, Who is to judge the living and the dead, and by (in the light of) His coming and His kingdom: 4:2 Herald and preach the Word! Keep your sense of urgency [stand by, be at hand and ready], whether the opportunity seems to be favorable or unfavorable. [Whether it is convenient or inconvenient, whether it is welcome or unwelcome, you as preacher of the Word are to show people in what way their lives are wrong.] And convince them, rebuking and correcting, warning and urging and encouraging them, being unflagging and inexhaustible in patience and teaching. 4:3 For the time is coming when [people] will not tolerate (endure) sound and wholesome instruction, but, having ears itching [for something pleasing and gratifying], they will gather to themselves one teacher after another to a considerable number, chosen to satisfy their own liking and to foster the errors they hold, 4:4 And will turn aside from hearing the truth and wander off into myths and man-made fictions. 4:5 As for you, be calm and cool and steady, accept and suffer unflinchingly every hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fully perform all the duties of your ministry. Show what the word says with patience teaching not just other Christians but also unbelivers. With gentleness not like a bully calling one who does not believe the way you do a cult. You are wrong in in your spirit and need council from God.

By the way there is no were in the Bible that says there will be Baptist,Mormons,Catholics,Church of Christ,Jehovah Witnesses,or even Seventh day Adventist in Heaven. Our churches are not the key for our salvation. Jesus is!Point blank. He paid the cost to be the boss. As the boss we should do what he says for our Love for Him we should obey. Do you know what church will be his last days church?
Revelation 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
Unless you have this in your repertoire you can't go around saying your right no way.
